Caulder Moore were selected to work alongside the M&S in-house design team to create a visually stunning
Christmas window design for the new Westfield London development. The brief centred on creating an ownable
signature spirit and attitude for the brand with movement and drama being key requirements. The concept had
to be practical and flexible reflecting the premium level customer experience at the Westfield store. Caulder Moore
developed the lighting and visual technology of the fixed window boxes integrating movement through rotating
mannequins. The distinctive and confident approach communicated the key brand values with energy and attitude, and provided a style which was translated across all stores.
Caulder Moore also established a long term strategy for the M&S generic windows, developing a set
of principles for future campaigns in 2009 that express a unique signature language for the brand.
