Yayoi Kusama

It’s no wonder that people are queuing through the street to see Yayoi Kusama’s latest installation. Due to its popularity you only have a precisely timed 30 seconds to immerse yourself in Kusama’s mirrored box chambers. When the door is closed behind you, everything is suddenly infinite. It all becomes an adrenalin filled blur with, as you might already know, enormous selfie-potential.

The brash patterns, repetitions and pumpkins are a consistent theme in Kusama’s work and she’s a testament that creativity does not correlate with age.

Whether you’re into the deep representation of the work or that it simply looks amazing, go soon or regret forever as it ends July 30th! (Go early and a week day if you can, we made a rookie error of going mid Saturday which resulted in a hour and half wait.)
