Embracing the magic of Aspinal of London
Aspinal of London, one of the UK’s finest luxury leather goods companies is the home of quintessential English luxury leather goods. With celebrity ambassadors such as Michelle Dockery, Pippa Middleton, Millie Macktintosh and Donna Air the brand has gained noterity and built up a reputation around the world for producing the highest quality, elegant and refined designed products to enjoy for a lifetime.
The brand’s key demographic is females aged 25-50, who seeks luxurious and stylish handmade leather goods that are made to the highest standard and are built to last. As part of our ongoing creative partnership with Aspinal of London we were briefed to design the concept for their Leeds store – the brands first flagship store outside of London.

One element of the store designed to be a key focal point was the theatre space in the centre of the store, which showcases the new collection of accessories in an engaging and visually rich way. We also worked with Aspinal of London to expand the colour palette of the brand instore, including new tones such as blush pink.
For Aspinal of London’s first flagship outside of London it was incredibly important to design and create the same magic and sense of engagement the brand showcases in its existing flagships into the Leeds Quarter store. To ensure this we worked with Aspinal of London through design intent drawings, design supervision right the way through to the final execution of the store and evaluation.
The first stage in this project was to use our knowledge of the brand, working very closely with the team at Aspinal of London to identify what key signatures they wanted to incorporate into the new flagship from their existing stores. Such as their flagship on Brook Street, London, their new season product and elements from their rich back catalogue of exceptional design.
Similarly, in the design concepting process another key consideration was the brand new development that the store was going into – the Leeds Quarter. The space was designed with the modern Leeds target customer in mind and is the perfect mix of Aspinal tradition and signature elements reinterpreted in a modern context. We were excited to help grow the Aspinal of London brand and introduce the brand to the Leeds consumer.
