Friday Favourites: Spring
Winter has seemed to last a life time and we're all looking forward to lighter evenings and warmer weather. This Friday Favourites comes a little early and just in time for Easter break as we reflect on our top Spring activities.
Let’ get straight to it, Spring brings Easter and everything Chocolate. Nom Nom... - wishing everyone a fantastic chocolate filled Easter. Brands are seducing us with all sorts of chocolate extravagance it's difficult to make a choice, that pressure of wearing the easter bunny hat and disappointing - not on my watch!
Here are my “Designers Choice” three recommendations, taking on a Good Better Best approach, leaving no room for disappointment.
Good - Cadburys Mini Eggs - £6.00
Better - Waitrose Dark Chocolate egg - £10.00
Best- Fortnum & Mason Hand Painted Chicken (Cluck Cluck) £55
Have fun kids…hope the ester bunny is good to you.
Spring is apparently here at last and nothing says Spring more than flowers in bloom. So I’m upping my Instagram game and consulting Timeout’s ‘Where to see spring flowers in London’ for my next floral shot!
My favourite spring activity is to ‘spring clean’ my entire home. I’m currently loving the new rose gold collection from Method, isn’t it gorgeous. Household product or household accessory?
When I think of spring, the first thing I think of (stereotypically) is flowers… so my Friday favourite this week is 'Freddie’s Flowers'. Redefining the concept of receiving flowers through the post, Freddies Flowers is a subscription service that allows you to receive beautiful blooms to your door every week (or less regularly if preferred). Packaged in a large craft box, the flowers come with an easy step to step guide (and youtube tutorial) on how to arrange them. Take a look and watch out for next weeks Spring Bouquet… and see if you can spot Freddie’s bike around town!
