Somerset House

Curating work from 30 international designers pushing the frontiers of the design world. Somerset House featured designers such as the Kvadrat exhibition 'My Canvas', Tord Boontje collaboration with Swarovski and Benjamin Hubert and LAYER launching nolii, an immersive installation that celebrates the simple beauty of being connected.

Design Junction

A mix of furniture, lighting, accessory, material and technology brands exhibit alongside pop-up shops, installations, and interactive features. Designjunction presents more than 200 of the world’s most iconic design brands.

Graphic Design Process: Analog Artifacts of Experimentation, Development, and Production

The exhibition highlighted the work designers produce on the way to final products, including work by W.A. Dwiggins, Emigre Inc, Eric Gill, Philip Grushkin, Edward Johnston, Herbert Matter, and others. The exhibition gave insight to the analog production and closes look at these unique artifacts. 

Otl Aicher's Isny

German designer Otl Aicher is best known for branding Lufthansa, the 1972 Munich Olympics and founding the influential Ulm School. His work for Isny Im Allgäu pushed the boundaries of how a small town could represent itself through design. Nearly 40 years later, we revisit the iconography of Isny.

Urban Cabin


Sam Jacob and MINI teamed up to create micro home with attached library. The 15-square-metre Urban Cabin is part of its ongoing MINI Living project, which is exploring new forms of urban living. The tiny cabin is designed for a future when homes become a shared resource.
