Animating Italian textile heritage

RAGNO

creative in-store design to amplify heritage brand virtues

Ragno is an Italian textiles company with a 100-year history.  It is famed for the superb fabrication, comfort and fit of wardrobe essentials for men and women, especially trousers.

The new retail design concept store in Milan is their first foray into experiential retail branding, creatively communicating their heritage and expertise.

Partnering with Ispira, specialist retail consultants, we created an elevated retail experience for customers to deepen their emotional connection and engagement.

Key to the design is Ragno’s iconic spider’s web icon, creating drama on the exterior to drive footfall. This design language is continued through angled rail details and hexagonal displays around pillars to create clear standout and brand recognition.

Tactile materials used throughout the store amplify the brand’s tradition; a warm, neutral colour palette enhances the colour pops of the products.

The fitting rooms are fabulous: flattering lighting, soft sofas and thick curtains … all encouraging longer dwell time and driving sales conversion.
