Crafting a fresh-food awakening

KANTEENY

vibrant brand identity & contemporary café design

From a celebrated Middle Eastern hospitality group to a modern Mediterranean grab-and-go concept for Riyadh’s fast-paced lifestyles.

Kanteeny is rooted in the Burj Al Hamam Group’s legacy of generous hospitality… but could this refreshed concept resonate in the dynamic King Abdullah Financial District? The answer was a resounding ‘yes’.

Caulder Moore guided us through a complete transformation, from our brand strategy and graphics to a fully reimagined interior concept. This new direction reflects who we are today: fresh, modern, creative and rooted in the generous spirit that defines Burj Al Hamam. We’re excited to introduce the new Kanteeny to Riyadh and soon to more spaces across the region.

Kanteeny Cafe in KAFD, Riyadh

The secret lay in amplifying the brand’s core values – fresh, high-quality Mediterranean food delivered with warmth, craftsmanship, and joy. A playful logotype, bold iconography and a bright, regionally inspired palette combined with natural materials, sculptural feature elements and carefully considered lighting to create an immersive café experience.

The result is a space that feels both energising and welcoming, perfectly aligned with the rhythms of modern Riyadh.

Kanteeny’s first flagship café in KAFD opened in summer 2026, marking the beginning of a wider rollout across the Middle East. The café’s interiors, from inclusive seating to a dedicated co-working mezzanine, along with eco-conscious packaging and vibrant messaging, reflect a brand designed to nourish both body and spirit.

Following the development of Kanteeny’s new brand strategy, identity and flagship interior concept, Caulder Moore adapted the design language for this smaller-format location in Laysen Valley, Riyadh. Working within a more compact footprint, the concept retains the energy and personality of the wider brand through its playful graphics, distinctive colour palette, considered material choices and welcoming details. The result is a space that feels unmistakably Kanteeny while demonstrating how the new design language can flex across different formats and locations.
